The software suite available from Borland includes a word processing program that uses the file extension SDI.
SDI stands for Single Document Interface and is used for the organization of GUI programs that are controlled by the management system in windows.
The files are used to encode information regarding how toolbars or similar applications behave, this allows the software to be made more usable for the enduser.
