When a program is installed on to a computer a file is created that allows the computer to be returned to its state before the software was installed, this is also known as rolling back.
To be able to do this files are created using the .rbs extension which contain information regarding the program installed and the parts installed.
These files are only found on computers using Microsoft operating systems.
