OPENPROJ is a open source project management program developed by Serena Software Incorporated, it can be used to replace other solutions such as Microsoft Project and has since its inception been downloaded over 1,200,000 times.

The program runs on operating systems as diverse as Windows, Linux, Unix and Mac OS X and is able to open files from Microsoft Projects and other similar products.

When you save your project in OPENPROJ it will be saved to a file that uses the .pod file extension, this file contains the information regarding resources used by the project.
