Microsoft Live Movie Maker is a program from Microsoft's Live Essentials series and is a software for creating and editing video´s.

The software is based on the previous program Windows Movie Maker but has been re-written and has features removed that were thought to be not needed by users.

Project files created by the program use the .wlmp extension and contain data regarding the project but do not have any video content.
