Open Office.org is Office program suite similar to Microsoft Office, originally developed by StarDivision which was then taken over by Sun Microsystems and is free to use for private, educational and commercial use.

One of the programs in the suite is called Impress which is a presentation Software similar to Microsoft Powerpoint, when you save a presentation in Open Office Impress it will be saved with the extension .odp which is uses the OpenDocument Standard.
