Microsoft Word 2007 or later support the use of macro enabled documents which use the extension .docm
A macro is a small application that carry´s out a sequence of events inside of the document.
DOCM files contain macro´s inside the document that can then be executed to automate various sequences.
Macro´s can also contain virus´s so care should be taken when opening these files.
