MPEG-2 transport streams(ISO/IEC 13818-1) known as Clip AV streams are contained in a BD-ROM AV specification. A Clip information file stores information such as time stamps and access points for the AV stream file which shows the player from where it should start reading the data from the stream.

These Clip information files use the file extension .clpi.
