Google Chrome uses the extension .crdownload when it downloads programs and the download has not been completed, this is similar to the PART files used by many File Download Managers in that once the download is complete that the name of the file gets changed back to its original name.
Google Chrome is a web browser developed by Google the browser uses the webkit engine to display pages, its is said to have passed all of the Acid3 tests which is a test page from the Web Standards Project. It also supports various extensions that can be used to add functions to the browser.
